JFYI: We just published the SWITCH IdP's large logo as SVG [1]. Should
be taken up by eduGAIN MD in a few minutes. eduGAIN Validator does not
complain [2].

The SVG version uses less than half the memory (2509B vs 5364B) compared
to the PNG version. As comparison, the X.509 cert uses 1123B. Then
again, these numbers will vary from logo to logo depending on their
complexity.

So, if eduGAIN breaks today, it's probably due to our SVG logo ;-)
