If there was a facility to register such a page with the eduGAIN OT for 
publication on the technical page or elsewhere then I think a lot of 
federations would be happy to register something. As you say, most of us 
probably have something very close to this already.

It might seem strange for me to support linking (say) a UKf support page 
intended to inform our members about eduGAIN from an eduGAIN page -- after 
all, they could surely find that on our site -- but I think I take your point 
that if the person who is talking to you is not fully informed then your 
pointing them at our documentation cuts a few corners and perhaps helps to 
make the experience more pleasant.

I wouldn't recommend going any further than that; if something isn't obvious 
to our member from the page you link to them, they should come and talk to 
our helpdesk.
