This sounds like it's already done:  http://www.edugain.org/technical/status.php

Note that the 'technical' link is absent not prominent from the main edugain website.
It's buried in the FAQ section under 'Where is eduGAIN is available?'

I do agree with the 'contact the home federation' statements for the reasons given..but we can certainly make it a bit easier on all if the technical status link were more visible.

Is it what you were looking for Nicole?

Chris.

I'd agree on this but perhaps suggest that edugain could also maintain a list of metadata publication statements in the future, as well as metadata registration.  I think we are at a point where being able to easily find the publication approaches for interfederation feeds is quite important.

Hi all,

I'm setting up 2 services for eduGAIN. As part of my documentation I would
like to point the IdPs to the 'local' eduGAIN metadata feed of their
national federation, which should at some point will contain the metadata of
my services.

However, I note there does not seem to be a list of locations where this
local metadata is published, it is everywhere and nowhere in local
documentation oracles. Would creating such a list be something eduGAIN could
pick up?

Cheers,
Niels
