I'd agree on this but perhaps suggest that edugain could also maintain a list of metadata publication statements in the future, as well as metadata registration.  I think we are at a point where being able to easily find the publication approaches for interfederation feeds is quite important.

Hi all,

I'm setting up 2 services for eduGAIN. As part of my documentation I would
like to point the IdPs to the 'local' eduGAIN metadata feed of their
national federation, which should at some point will contain the metadata of
my services.

However, I note there does not seem to be a list of locations where this
local metadata is published, it is everywhere and nowhere in local
documentation oracles. Would creating such a list be something eduGAIN could
pick up?
