Hello,

we are not a 24/7 on-call helpdesk. Please don't assume near real-time responses.

As of right now, all I can say is that cat.eduroam.org is up and running, and we have no indication of it having been unreachable.

I can also confirm that there are no firewalling rules geared at specific countries or world regions.

From your screenshots, I also see that the network path towards the host was in principle working.

If you still see this issue occuring, you would need to investigate where on the network path this host or port access is being filtered. It is certainly not on cat.eduroam.org itself.

You can always use standard looking glass services to find out if the unavailability is local to you or global. For example this one:

https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/cat.eduroam.org

On good operating systems, you can use traceroute -T to probe using TCP SYN packets, which is closer to real connections than a ping.
