Hi Stefan,

Our Lab. just announced the availability of "eduroam" yesterday and our Lab. 
is closed this morning due to the snow.
So, I'm probably one of the 1st to try and I've complained to the helpdesk 
yesterday evening but of course nobody has worked on it yet.  

I've just logged to a Windows 7 desktop (which doesn't have WIFI) in my Lab. 
(through Remote Desktop Connection).  And voila, it has exactly the same 
problem.   So, it's not just my laptop !  The problem is probably
some peculiar Lab. security setting ... I wonder what that's ....

This is indeed a strange symtomatic.

Do you have access to another Windows 7 machine? Does the installer work 
there?

Do your colleagues (with Win 7 computers) have similar problems, or is it 
just your very own machine for this specific BNL installer that has these 
problems?
