I was referring to configuration coverage in end devices (which is the
aspect this mailing list cares about).

It's a good question and I have no idea (ok, our own offices hotspot
does, that much I can say :-) ).

The problem with this config item (as well as the proxy=auto one) is
that the admin in CAT does not and cannot know whether turning it on or
off is going to be useful to his users.

Either his users eventually roam to a HS20 hotspot or not.

Either his users eventually roam to a proxy-WPAD hotspot or not.

That's why I'm reluctant to make these things a per-IdP config item...
we're asking the wrong guy (and there is no right guy to ask). That
calls for a global yes/no IMHO.
