Hi,
To recreate a realistic use case, have you tested how RARE performs when
adding additional RTT with something like tc? Say 70-100ms to pretend we’re
trying a 10gbps or even 100gps transfer to the US. And maybe throw in some
very small packet loss to enforce retransmits.
If we are considering using RARE for something like DMC, this sort of testing
will be useful. Raul can also look at this in the Jisc lab once we’ve got
physical access again.
