Hallo,

Am 27.04.23 um 17:47 schrieb Lukas Wringer (via cat-users Mailing List):
actually I think that is a known bug you ran into.

This is indeed a known bug, but we have seen it the other way round.
_Our_ (uni Marburg) profile does support wired eduroam because we are still
using it in some places.
Hence our .mobilconfig for macOS has a section <string>Wired Network</string>
in it.
Starting with a certain macOS version, the software that tries to import our
.mobileconfig
would report "Interface not found" on _some_ MacBooks.
It turned that we could work around this by connecting a compatible
USB-to-Ethernet adapter once to the device.
This obviously triggers the creation of some internal structure in macOS
which represent the wired interface.
After plugging in the adapter once, the .mobilconfig import no longer
complains.

I have looked at the ku.de .mobilconfig: There is no wired config, so the
error makes even less sense.
But anyway, just give the USB-to-Ethernet adapter a try: Plug one in once,
the try to import eduroam-OS_X-KUE-TTLS-PAP.mobileconfig again.

Also: Einfach mal einen Apple-komaptiblen USB-auf-Ethernet-Adapter anstecken,
prüfen dass er auch im Systembericht unter Netzwerk auftaucht
und dann nochmal probieren.

Viel Erfolg
Martin Pauly
