I installed the GetEduroam app on my phone (I have google pixel 6 pro with android 13) Saint Paul College or Minnstate Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is not listed.  I didn’t see anything listed about the Eduroam Cat app being deprecated in the listing.

Hi,

 

Just to be sure; did you use the “eduroam CAT” app (deprecated) or the “geteduroam” app, which is advised for modern Android versions? What Android version and phone did you use? (Unfortunately there’s no such thing as 1 Android environment.)

 

Can you confirm on another device/platform the settings in CAT are correct? (Do they work on iPhone, Windows, macOS, …?)

 

I’m a bit confused looking at the certificates I see coming from your RADIUS server if I test with minnstate.edu; but I think my client I test with is confused because you also send the CA certificates. You don’t need to send these from your RADIUS server. (You can see this in the realm check inside eduroam CAT as well.)

Subject: [[cat-users]] Profile not loaded on Android

I helped a user install the Android client (Eduroam cat for Minnesota State College & Universities).  We’ve tried just about everything but Nick’s phone can’t connect to Eduroam.  Is there a troubleshooting guide for Android available?
