We have multiple reports from our users that out (university of trieste)
wireless/wired profile cannot be installed on
macOS devices without an ethernet network adapter resulting in an error:

- The ‘Wi-Fi Network’ payload could not be installed. The network interface
could not be found. -

We conducted a trial on two macOS 12.2 devices and were able to reproduce the
error only on devices that never seen an ethernet dongle connected.

Once you merely connect an ethernet dongle, even without ethernet link, the
OS creates an entry and the installer works perfectly.
Even without the dongle connected and after a reboot.
