You mean on the front page, for end users?

The interface is exactly the same, also for iOS.

When I just tried it, I noticed that the on-screen keyboard pops up
automatically and hides the text box for searching. Maybe that is what
you meant?

It is positioned in that text box though - you can just type to search.

Alternatively, there is a button on the lower-right end of the on-screen
keyboard which hides the keyboard. Then you can see the institution
search popup in its full beauty.
