I have not been able to connect to eduroam using this device, either on the New Orleans campus or on the Houston campus for at least six months. I have removed the profile, “forgotten” the connections, and reinstalled several times. Technical support cannot see anything wrong with the setup and has not been helpful. This is a high-end, recent model Surface Pro 4, and I have no connectivity problems anywhere else. Interestingly, my iphone does connect to eduroam, and I have put the phone next to the computer several times just to test if I was in an area of weak coverage. Most of my students use Apple products, and I’m beginning to suspect that there is something unique about the Surface Pro that is my problem. Lynn Jones Tulane University Ljones21 AT tulane.edu |
