Indeed you have a point. Someone who has not seen the interface before 
will take the grey for a normal thing.
The text telling that there will be no download is not big, therefore 
not obvious.

Of course if you click the button you will be told again that things 
will not work.

What I could do in such a case is make the platform name smaller and the 
message a little larger and possibly in red?
