The p4 user is not part of the Nix installation (it was added after
the initial install).  The newest RARE-NIX test-release (called
"1delta", also see
http://hydra.nix.net.switch.ch/RARE/releases/1delta/) has a "rare"
user with full sudo rights.  It also has a default password ("rare")
as well as a SSH key pair (published as part of the Nix packaging).
All of this can be changed to meet our needs, of course.
