Hi Jørn Åne

Thanks for your reply. Sure, we're seeing this on Windows 10 and 11 PCs, and
have seen it since we started switching profiles while we were testing our
deployment of eduroam eVA, so switching back and forth, between our
University of New Brunswick profiles and eduroam Visitor Access Canada
profile.

The full error we see is:

Unknown error while installing profile
MethodName: WIanSetProfile, ErrorCode: 1206, ErrorMessage:
The network connection profile is corrupted.
, ReasonCode: 13

Thanks

-Blair

Hi Blair

The profiles are not stored there [*], only the .exe file is when installing,
as you have found. Profiles are stored in some Windows-service, which can be
queried by netsh. However, the error you're experiencing clearly shows that
this didn't work.

Would you be willing to share some more information on this, such as which
profile you're attempting to install, and which version of Windows you're on?
These bugs are often hard to hunt down. :(

[*] It is possible for an admin to put an .eap-config file there, and
geteduroam will offer the user to install that file. However, this is not
the installed profile.
