Hi all,

We have a number of entity categories in our portfolio like CoCo, R&S
and Sirtfi.

Knowing a federation supports these could be helpful in getting these
adopted by entities, as then for example a research collaboration could
suggest to the entity to behave as their peers in the federation are
doing. But how do I find out if a federation actually supports these?
Clearly, once I find an entity in metadata that has one or more, I know
it must be supported by the federation. But if I see none or a few, I
cannot know if this is because the entities are not using them, or if
this is the federation lacking support.

Would it be useful to have federation make known which entity categories
they support in some automated fashion (other then by filling in the
REFEDs wiki yearly)?

many thanks,

Niels
