That set will validate some of the elements in the metadata, but it will
silently ignore and not validate a lot of the more modern stuff, which if
we're talking about "eduGAIN metadata" (as the OP did) seemed like the OP
would find useful.

I'm not sure how comprehensive the InCommon set was. The set I linked
attempts to be exhaustive.
