I do not think this is a good idea. We can potentially comply with this request, but it would mean that as far as UKf members were concerned your federation was no longer part of eduGAIN. I hope you agree that this would be undesirable for all parties and I hope that you will wish to withdraw this request now that I have made the consequences clear.

Agree that this is undesirable. But the current situation is equally undesirable, because the feeling is that we as a federation are acting wrong because we don't provide to our members the right metadata aggregate needed to make the parties in touch. I'm thinking that a possibility to balance the metadata exchange is to import in the edugain2idem metadata stream also all the SPs present in the UKfederation. Unless you want to register all your SPs in eduGAIN.
