this obviously is an oversight, will be fixed in nthe new release due in a few days.

The eduroam CAT installer on linux will, by default will set the option

[wifi-security]
group=ccmp;tkip;

TKIP however has been deprecated since at least 2012.

this can lead to issues on configurations no longer supporting TKIP.
