The mailing list for users of the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool (CAT)

Thomas, 

a) Which version of Android do you have on your phone, and 
b) What phone is it (i.e. manufacturer and model), and 
c) Which app are you using?

If your answer to a) is anything newer than 8 and the answer to c) is the 
'eduroam CAT' app, you should be using the 'geteduroam' app instead and you 
should update your guidance on this.

If your answer to a) is anything newer than 8 and the answer to c) is 
geteduroam, then there's possibly something wrong with the profile, and we'll 
have to get to the bottom of it.

If your answer to a) is Android 13, the answer to b) is an HONOR phone (HONOR 
70, HONOR 50, HONOR 30 etc), and gthe answer to c) is geteduroam, please try 
the older geteduroam app at 
https://apkpure.com/geteduroam/app.eduroam.geteduroam/download/1.0.16

If your answer to a) is something older than 8 and the answer to c) is the 
'eduroam CAT' app, let's get to the bottom of it.

Hi,


I have some users (including me) that cannot install the eduroam cat 
profile on their Android cell phone.


Every time we get the messages: "All Profiles failed" and then the 
message that the user has to check the lock screen of the phone.


Changing the settings of this to pin or password or pattern have no 
effect. Also uninstallation and new installation of app or profile 
bring no success.
