Please use the geteduroam app (geteduroam.org) for Android 8 and up, as the Android CAT app is deprecated and recommended only for Android 4.3 to 7.

Confirmed working with Pixel 6a phones on Android 13.

I am reaching out on behalf of a number of staff here at Edith Cowan University that have installed Android 13 onto their personal Google Pixel phones and can no longer access the EDUROAM WiFi using the EDUROAM CAT application.

 

I just wanted to confirm if there are additional steps required and that Android 13 is supported. We do use MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) here as an additional note in case this may have any affect.

 

Please note, the staff have forgotten all previous EDUROAM connections, removed the application and profile, and restarted their phones. They have then attempted to re-download the latest version available and install the EDUROAM CAT application together with the Edith Cowan University EDUROAM profile.

 

Any information would be greatly appreciated and if I have sent this email to you in error, please redirect as you see fit to the appropriate support personnel.
