Hello,


I just downloaded both the UAM and IIB profiles for UAM in an iPadOS
13.2 Public Beta 4 and the installation proceeded to the point when I
had to provide username and password (at which point I aborted the
installation).


Am I right in assuming that

a) iOS is actually iPadOS, considering that you are on an iPad?

b) the error happens before you get an opportunity to enter a
username/password?

c) the iPad is not "special" in the way that accessories such as an
external network interface is connected?


BTW, the iPad vs. macOS download mismatch is /usually/ not a problem and
the files are actually identical. Only if the option "Wired" is set, the
macOS variant will contain a wired 802.1X configuration while the iOS /
iPadOS one will not. The reason being that iOS/iPadOS installation will
fail when the profile wants to configure a wired interface which doesn't
exist.
