We have the same issue here too. Autodetect using 3g/4g will result in my institute being 71km away and ends up showing our Logo beside a different Institute. Works ok on a WiFi network but we only supply Eduroam to our end users.

So it ends up being a 2 step installation, Install CAT and then click link to go to cat.eduroam.org to download config file. Not ideal, would prefer it to be a one-step solution for end users.

Hi,

We have the same issue here. Autodetection fails frequently as our IP blocks' geolocation points to a far place.

So we advised to do a manual search in the eduroam CAT app as the foolproof way to configure eduroam. It is SLOW and ends with some corrupted result. We have now started downloading the profile from the CAT website and opening it in the app as that is the only reliable way of configuring eduroam in Android.
