This should not be happening if you are not within reach of the eduroam
network. It looks like your system tries to connect to eduroam all the
time and is failing. If you are connected to your home network then
there should be no reason for this prompt to come up.

If you want to uninstall the element that is causing the prompt you need
to go to installed applications, find GEANTLink and uninstall it.

Still this case looks really strange and I would be happy to learn
more., If you are willing to share more about it then please get beck to
me off list.
