You may want to look at the macOS installers we produce: those are plist
files themselves (wrapped with an S/MIME signature).
There is no way a plist looks into a different plist to import some of
its values.
What you can do is take our file, and modify the tag in question so that
the username is contained in the plist file.
Then it becomes a file which you have to host and supply to your users
yourself though. Also, naturally, our S/MIME signature then won't be
valid any more so you'd have to distribute either unsigned or
self-signed installers yourself.
