Hello,

You seem to be misinformed about the purpose of this mailing list and
the product you are using.

eduroam CAT produces customised software on behalf of your own
organisation, DTU Health Tech Graduate School. The goal of such software
is to make the onboarding process to eduroam /easy/.

If our software doesn't work for your fairly rare corner case, then that
does not mean you cannot use eduroam. In fact, we have a very related
FAQ entry on the front page of the web site:

"My device is not listed! Does that mean I can't do eduroam®?

No. The CAT tool can only support Operating Systems which can be
automatically configured in some way. Many other devices can still be
used with eduroam®, but must be configured manually. Please contact your
organisation to get help in setting up such a device."

And that answer is true for your case: please contact your
organisation's IT department. Maybe they change the user permissions on
your device, maybe they set up your device using alternative means.

> Please provide me name and contact for your manager and, if applicable,
> guidelines for filing a complaint.

As hinted to above, your request does not compute. Your point of contact
is not our management, but your IT department. I trust that you have
means to find out about their whereabouts and contact points.

I for one am the lead developer of the eduroam CAT software. Tomasz's
reply that problems with specific - rare - permission constellations on
Windows devices is known but low priority is entirely correct.

Complaints about CAT software are typically filed by writing to this
mailing list, which you have already done.

If you really need it, the reporting line and escalation path for
bringing issues to the attention of eduroam global management are:

- your own organisation's responsible person for eduroam
- your eduroam National Roaming Operator; in Denmark: DeiC
- the European eduroam Steering Group
- the Global eduroam Governance Committee

Greetings,

Stefan Winter
