Hello,

thanks to everyone who took CAT-2.0.0-beta1 to a test drive. We found a
small number of small bugs. Most of them are already fixed by now, with
one pull request on the Linux installer pending review. This change will
not change any translatable strings in the code base.

As announced in my initial mail (see below) this means we are now
entering a three week phase where the translations of CAT can be finalised.

From tomorrow on, Transifex will have the final strings for the release
beta2 (which is the one we'll put into production on cat.eduroam.org).
There are only minimal changes to a few strings since beta1.

A reminder for translators:

Every translation team now has three weeks to translate all user-facing
strings (all files in Transifex except web_admin). Those who reach the
100% state on those (four) files are included in the beta2 release
(which is the first one to be in production on cat.eduroam.org).
Translating web_admin is of course welcome but a secondary target; the
strings in there will only be seen by IdP or NRO admins.

* Those who do not reach those 100% of end-user facing strings will not
be included in that release. *

I.e. if you want to be among those languages which are visible on
cat.eduroam.org on initial release, please log into Transifex and work
on the translations until 30 Sep.

BTW, we did get that approval, so my plan is to package the final
release on the morning of 01 Oct and to put it onto cat.eduroam.org
immediately after.

Greetings,

Stefan Winter
