Hi!

 

I just sent two reports (from one phone).

As for the config file, it was just 4.3 as far as we know. After many tries it suddenly worked for the users that were here. We didn’t change anything.

We used the discovery in-app.

 

Status is now that it is working again, but the app is still crashing.

Hello,

 

Can you ask all users who experience a crash to report it, using the android crash report.

The crash submission pops up automatically when a crash occurs.

I have no crash reports for android 4.3 submitted in the last 30 days.

 

Is it just android 4.3 that doesn’t load the config file for your institution?

Does this occur loading the file from the cat.eduroam.org web site, or via the location discovery in-app?

Hi all,

 

We have a few users that reported a problem with CAT  (profile) for Android 4.3.

When trying to load the profile, the CAT app says:

  Configuration File Error

  File access error. Try downloading the profile again.

 

Re-downloading doesn’t help.

I checked the profile link and didn’t see any obvious problems: https://cat.eduroam.org/user/API.php?action="downloadInstaller&lang=en&id=android_43&profile=2046

 

The CAT app is also crashing a lot on these phones.

 

Any help is appreciated.
