Well if you deleted only a profile, not the entire inst, it's probably
fastest to re-create it in the admin UI.
I am really sure that a "Discard Changes" does not delete a profile
though. Maybe you mis-clicked on the "Delete Profile" button instead
(but there is a JavaScript popup warning you about the consequences...)
If it's deleted - we can't bring it back. Do you send your users to the
direct download page with a deep-link? That link will change if you
re-create a profile anew.
What we may be able to do is re-assign the old profile identifier in the
system so that these links do effectively not change. That's a manual
SQL statement level change though, and I'm not sure if I as developer am
allowed to do that by Operations. Something about operation at an open
heart ...
