Thank you for your reply.

I just found out that this was because the user had a “patern screen lock” which isn’t sufficient. After changing the screen lock to pin code everything worked fine.

The error message was somewhat cryptic though. J

Hi,

I have tested your institutions eap-config on cat.eduroam.org, and it worked ok for me on my Nexus.

So I think this must be a device specific issue for this user.

Can you email me the device type/model of the user with the problem?

We are using both cat.eduroam.org and location lookup, both resulted in the same error.

Hello,

Are you hosting the .eap-config file locally, or using cat.eduroam.org ?

Or did the user use the location lookup to discover the eap-config?

One of our users has a problem using CAT on Android 4.3.

The CAT app has been downloaded from Google Play.

When trying to install the profile, the following message occurs:

“File access error. Try to download the profile again.”
