thanks for that verbose error message.

Our installers for iOS use features which were introduced with iOS 7,
and which apparently are not violently rejected (as opposed to silently
ignored) by iOS 5+6.

We have meanwhile deployed an upgrade on cat.eduroam.org which has a
specific download button for iOS 5 and 6; using that one should solve
your issue.
