I would go fort this approach or say iOS 5 not supported (it can join Windows
XP
and Android 3...)

most Apple users will keep up with the technology Apple release.... but
sometime
people are happy with their older device..the problem in this case is that
the older
device cannot run any newer iOS releases (because Apple underspecced the
original iPad)
...and my issue with this is that this device will not be receiving any more
security
updates or patches and therefore could be attacked/infected by malicious
users.
it was discontinued in 2011...and if Apple no longer support it then I'm not
sure
why other 3rd parties should.
