Hi CS,

It's not exactly clear to me about the problem and solution here, but I have
some thoughts to share.

If we want to send duplicate traffic through different topology for
redundancy purposes, the best to do is at overlay not at BIER layer itself.

Taking MVPN as example - it can be configured and signaled as such that an
I/S-PMSI tunnel goes through two sub-domains. Each sub-domain is associated
with its own topology.

In case of IGP, each topology is an ISIS/OSPF multi-topology or flex algo. In
case of BGP, multi-topology can be realized through BGP-CT or how the routes
are advertised, with or without BIER. When you add BIER into the BGP case,
you just need to advertise different BIER information (for different
sub-domains) along the different paths.
