just a quick update on the topic:
-the local cicso reps were kind enough to provide me c8k 17.10.01a
-barefoot pushed sde 9.11.1 and with that, everything passed!

i've ran all the tests available for the interops and the dataplanes...

everything was bumped to the latest greatest available to me:
- cisco ios xr v9k 7.8.1
- cisco ios xe c8k 16.12.4a
- junos vsrx3 22.3
- openvswitch 2.17.2
- dpdk 22.11
- xdp 6.0.13
- bf sde 9.11

everything passed fine as usual, except some tofino tests...
after digging into the issue i saw that the root cause was that the new
emulation runs much slower than before,
causing the final part of the tests, where i check if all the packets
happened in the dataplane to fail...
hopefully they'll fix this in the upcoming releases... if they don't, i'll
relax a bit the test expectations...

i also updated the bitbucket repos too, most notable news is freerouter got
draft-rift-rift support for huuge clos dc fabrics...

fun fact:
as usual from me in december i picked a crazy legacy project from the
todo.txt, at this time it was rfc1613: x25 over tcp...
it interworks nicely with a set of c7200s in dnyamips, configured to do x25
routing and one to do the xot tunneling...
i was able to to "pad freertr" from a c7k2 and it arrived to my development
box and i was able to show flawlessly...
if you have a freerouter at hand you can try "packet xotpad
sandbox.freertr.org" to connect to my dn42 looking glass...
