Hi Xavier,

 

I get my images from: https://sonic-build.azurewebsites.net/ui/sonic/pipelines:

1. Choose a branch from the derised platform. Ex: 202205 for barefoot, and click on build history

2. Choose a Build that resulted in "succeeded". Ex: 154140 and click on Artifacts (you can see the commit that this build relates to, in case you want to build a custom SONiC version)

3. Look for target/sonic-barefoot.bin, and either copy the link to the specific choosen version [1] or to the latest version [2]

 

Some SONiC images are not stable, even tagged ones. So there is some trial and error to try to find a working version.

The good thing is that after the inittial install, it's very easy to install a new image: sudo sonic-installer install "URL".

 

I can confirm that build 154140 recongnizes my SFPs correctly:

Hello

 

I know that my question is not in the right list.

 

In our study to implement L2 PPN based on RARE/Freertr, it was asked me to have an alternative if finally RARE/Freertr would not make the job (I do not think we will never do thi s but I have to show this alternative is doa able).

 

I have to use an image found here https://sonic.software/ as on the web page "Supported Devices and Platforms" from sonic GitHub, it is impossible to fetch the image for the wedge. After the SONIC installation, SONIC does not detect any SFP within the  Wedge.

 

I suspect, I do not use the right image.

Does anyone already install SONIC on this type of machine and could give an advice to install it on the Wedge?
