okk, so the point here, is that once you inject anything in between the
layer3 and layer4,
then, until every box in your network understands that new thing, you blinded
the layer4 part...



basically the same that simon stared saying that you cannot traverse an mpls
core over an ip only box...

in this case, it's a bit better because you wont blackhole everything, but
you wont be utilize the multi-link capacity:
nor bundles nor ecmp wont work because the legacy boxes will use the 3tuple,
which is pe-pe communication in this case...
