yesss, normally it should had been!

normally yess... but as the "test hwext" was buggy missed the mac 
preservation, that's how it became different...
from all the above, vbox (nor qemu, what i use) simply does not enforce the 
portsecurity, but gcloud does...
and as the converted sdnX did not had the good mac, that's how it failed for 
you... that's what just changed:

so from the releases starting from today, hopefully will use the proper mac 
on the converted sdnX interfaces...
