The ONIE installation is the same for all platforms, i.e.

onie-shell# onie-nos-install
http://hydra.nix.net.switch.ch/RARE/releases/1/onie-installer.bin

This RARE release also supports the "gearbox ports" (the first 16
ports or so that also support 1G operation), at least to some
extent. However, this platform has not been tested very well with that
image.

Be warned that it takes over one minute for the gearbox hardware to
initialize when freerouter is started. Just in case you try to
configure something right after startup and notice it doesn't work :)
