Hi CS,

I plan to bring a laptop that runs virtualized routers and connects to other
physical gear on site - no tunnels that way.

But since you're doing it remotely, I thought we'd have to set up tunnels to
you. But is that feasible? If not, how are we going to test?

+chaining back the lists, email body srinked!!!!

yesss thanks, i had to raise a ticket at support@ietf... it neeeeeds
tiiiiiiiime... :)))))))

tunnels; whoaaa so you also can support an interop remotely?!?!? thanks!!!!

security... in telco.... no fvkkin way, what about a gre between 2 public
ips???

(ietf normally have a purpose kept /24 /64 and im on public ip pppoe plan on
my flat:))))

on this we equally can set up our virtuals to carry the igp and mpls, then we
equally can xconnect a "physical" plug-port, remotely.......

(once u have the ietf ip i can send you a vmdk or just the rtr-sw.txt and
rtr-hw.txt and you can javac the code from github....)

alternatively, gretap, its gre plus ethertype... i can send you a
preconfigured rtr-sw.txt rtr-hw.txt after you provides me a public ietf ip....

its gre plus briding ethertype... much like how ppp(oe) used to carry
ethernet frames but here this happens over gre...

if not gretap, then it can be a static etherip (rfc) or static srv6's layer2
protocol, alternatively same dataplane but multihop bgp / evpn

any of these holds the preconfigured "plugport" javac-java -able config from
my side....

if none of these then let me hear your your preferences?!??!?

thanks,

cs
