hi,
yess, for sure, one can start a whole topology, emulated...
i've sent the list not too far a script to bring up the whole geant p4
testbed in a single computer...
this stacking/backplane stuff is not an exception since it uses standard
technologies to do stuff...
(the only trick was introduced is to check if an interface is local or not,
and use the
vpnv4/v6/evpn/vpls methods (mpls or srv6) for addressing remote ports...)
