Hello,

we recently uploaded new participant metadata (and always use eduGAIN Validator's verdict to determine if the content is "correct").

This update went through the Validator fine, but another federation complained about a validation error for

<md:OrganizationURL xml:lang="en">https//www.uni.l/en/</md:OrganizationURL>

'https//www.uni.l/en/' is not a valid RFC3986 compliant URI

Which is of course true as an error. I wonder if the eduGAIN Validator could be updated to catch this earlier during ingestion, rather than have to fall through to downstream.
