Hi all, 

Some of you might have looked into the Nigeria/eduID.ng assessment already and noticed that Owen’s email is bouncing. This turned out to be a copy/paste error. It should be owen AT eko-konnect.org.ng. It has now been corrected in the CC.

who has Signed the eduGAIN Declaration, has a policy based on the federation template, is self-declaring their federation as a production service and is wanting to join the global R&E federated environment.

I ask the following federations to specifically review the submission by Nigeria / eduID.ng:
  • Israel / IUCC Identity Federation
  • Italy / IDEM
  • Japan / GakuNin
  • Korea / KAFE
  • Kyrgystan / KRENA Identity Federation

All eduGAIN members can (and should) provide feedback on this but to share the burden of review around, these five (5) federations have a specific responsibility. The deadline for assessment is set on Friday 12 November EOB.

If you have any questions please contact the eduID.ng team (Owen Iyowa owen AT eko-konnekt.org.ng and Ahmed Isah Chafe aichafe AT udusok.edu.ng. Both in CC).  

Formal components of the membership process will be via the eduGAIN Steering Group mailing list.
