I'm just curious how metadata is processed if there is entity containing custom namespace but such namespace is declared in root element (EntitiesDescriptor)

The eduGAIN validator parses metadata according to the rules defined in eduGAIN Metadata Profile. 

There, in the section 2 are defined namespaces.

Not so long ago I realized that prefixes of namespaces are not fixed in the specification only named as „conventional”.

I guess that the validator and aggregator should accept other prefixes. It is on my todo list.
