It's pure XSLT, so could be integrated with any language or API that
has an xslt processor, originally intended as a showcase of how to
build a service catelog for your federation from only SAML metadata.

Table sorting and searching is done in the browser, though, and the
current size of the eduGAIN aggregate is already starting to show the
limits of that approach.

https://eduid.at/entities/ (identical xslt to SMEV, modulo version
differences and that this one prefers xml:lang="de" over "en") might
be a bit faster, that's using Python's lxml (libxml2), while SMEV is
still using PHP's XsltProcessor (PoC code).
