That seems like one (another?) source of the problem: No SP (or IDP)
should pull metadata from the MDS itself, IMO. The content of that
should be provided to you by your home federation.

In this case SURF* would make sure the UKF* copy of your IdP would not
be exposed to you (if they were doing what I would do ;)
