Are you saying ("which will be disallowed") the eduGAIN MDS will
remove/block entities with key sizes below 2048bit from its aggregate?
Or is that just an echo of the NIST language?

Currently there are only 5 out of 222 entities with such keys, so
changes to those 5 entities within the remaining months of the year
seem very much doable -- if that is what you're in fact saying.
