Hi all,

   CAT release 2.1.2 as just been released. It has multiple extensions 
but they mostly touch the admin area and in particular utilities for 
federation administrators.

The main changes are:

- [FEATURE #1]  add support for device-specific options be displayed only
                for devices they belong to
- [FEATURE #2]  add warnings about certificate expiry and certificates
                without CA extensions to the profile management interface,
                block adding bad certificates to the system
- [FEATURE #3]  add read-only mode for NRO admins and superadmins and expand
                the NRO management page, in particular icons showing 
status,
                certificate validity problems and OpenRoaming readiness
- [FEATURE #4]  add a script to be used to test the OpenRoaming readiness
                of IdPs
- [FEATURE #5]  add per-idp statistics and per-profile to the API calls 
STATISTICS-FED
- [FEATURE #6]  add FLAG-NO-LOGO flag for DATADUMP-FED to eliminate logos
                from the dump
- [FEATURE #7]  replace Quetto icons with the Tabler ones
- [FEATURE #8]  add new SUPPORT role with read-only access to IdP settings
- [FEATURE #9]  a rewrite of dynamic connectivity tests
- [FEATURE #10] extensions to the eduPKI server certificates interface to
                display detailed information about certificates to be 
issued
- [FEATURE #11] avoiding problems for eduPKI server certificates for 
institutions
                with long names and names containing commas
- [FEATURE #12] add optional local cache of the external (eduroam) database
- [FEATURE #13] add TIMEOUTS constant to config/Diagnostics.php to eliminate
                very long delays in testing sites - this requires updating
                your instance following the Diagnostics-template.php
- [FEATURE #14] Improvemens to the linux python installed, in particular 
add support

- [FEATURE #15] Removing the Registered Trademark character form the 
eduroam profile
                name in Windows
- [FEATURE #16] New style vendor logos added
- [BUGFIX #1]   multiple improvements to the code, in particular eliminating
                the deprecated FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING usage
- [BUGFIX #2]   replaced slow SQL queries in Managed IdP area with much 
faster ones
- [BUGFIX #3]   fixed blocking of Ajax requests caused by php sessions
- [BUGFIX #4]   added several mising indexes in tables
- [BUGFIX #5]   reduced number of database queries in 
overrvier_federation.php
