Hello,

you may want to contact your National Roaming Operator, Internet2. They are the ones who can add you to the system, and sure have all the answers.

For sure, an Access-Accept of yours is not turned into an Access-Reject by anything remotely in the realm of eduroam CAT. The source for that happening have to be elsewhere.

Greetings,

Stefan Winter

I am a wireless engineer at the University of Pittsburgh.  I have had several users request that we add our University to the CAT list.

Is this something that is required for eduroam to work and is this new?  We have had Eduroam on our campus for years and there hasn’t been an issue, but recently we’ve been experiencing some problems with Pitt users on different campuses.  We can see requests passing our authentication and being sent back to Eduroam, but the users still can’t connect.

I would like some additional information on CAT and potentially setting it up for University of Pittsburgh.  I would also like someone to help me understand why this situation happens when we are passing back a successful authentication.

Thank you,
