Hi again.

 

The user informs me that she does not receive any network save notifications.

 

According to another message on the list, they said that in landscape mode this notification appeared, but the user tells me that this notification does not appear either.

 

She has also checked the permissions and geteduroam has notification permissions in the system.

 

What solution can I offer her?

Hi Carlos,

 

Please check with the user if there is a notification in their notifications box (swipe down from the top of the device to see whether there are any notifications) to add eduroam as a network. If there is, tap it and accept the network.

 

If there is not, then this will need to be investigated.

Subject: [[cat-users]] Eduroam configuration failures on Android devices

 

Hi team,

 

Our User Support Centre is reporting problems on Android devices during the configuration of eduroam using geteduroam.

 

Once the corresponding profile is selected, after entering username and password the application closes without showing any error and without configuring the eduroam profile.

 

Latest device with this problem: 12.5.8 MIUI Global Poco X

 

Is there a workaround?
